The festivities are just around the corner, so if you’re looking to make plans, now is probably not too early!
There’s plenty going on at The Howard Arms this year, and whether you book for a ‘special’ event such as Christmas lunch, or New Year’s Eve, you’ll always find a great vibe in the bar and restaurant, with locals enjoying the holiday, visitors staying for the duration, a great menu, always a roaring fire, and some special Christmas cocktails in addition to the usual favourites.
The Christmas package:
We’ve meticulously planned a three-night stay with plenty to eat and drink, and lots to do (if you want to). For those who prefer to kick back by the fire and leave the walks, singing and church to others, that’s obviously absolutely fine too!
Full details of our three-night stay can be found here.
But don’t delay, at the time of writing there is just one double room left available.
Christmas parties:
We have a party menu for 1st – 23rd December, available every day except Sunday. It’s a set price of £26 for three courses, £20 for two courses. While this is a great option for large gatherings, there’s no minimum or maximum party size – we just ask that you pre-order one week prior to the booking, and the choice is taken by all diners at the table.
Christmas lunch is a gastronomic affair starting with Champagne and canapes, followed by three courses and a sorbet, and finishing up with coffee and mince pies.
It’s included in the three-night package, but there is also availability for non-residents. The full menu can be found via this link:
New Year’s Eve
We have one double room remaining for our New Year’s package, a two-night stay for £550 that includes champagne and canape reception followed by dinner and dancing on New Year’s Eve, a hearty breakfast on New Year’s Day with a restorative Bloody Mary or glass of fizz, a bracing countryside walk (or quiet time by the fire), followed by a three-course dinner.
We’re still taking New Year’s Eve dinner bookings for non-residents. The full menu can be found here:
We very much look forward to seeing you for a celebratory something over the Christmas period.
